Owned Sculpture by Others

circa 1975
by Tim Werrell, Durham, NC

Biography: “I have been working as a commissioned metal sculptor full time for twenty years. In my Glendale, OH studio, I weld full form monumental sculpture out of brass and stainless steel. My work is generally free form and abstract in nature. The sculpture is usually site specific and often symbolic of the patron or organization for whom I am working. My accomplishments include several public works including: the Charles Taft Memorial, Cincinnati, OH; The Vietnam War Memorial, Charleston, SC and the Morse Johnson memorial at the Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati, OH. I am the recipient of several awards and grants. I addition, I have created numerous works, local and nationally, for residential, corporate and liturgical sites, both interior and exterior.” ( 7/2001
